Regarding my story, “Collateral Damage”: there were times when I wanted to dial things back. But then I paused and thought about every victim or survivor of human trafficking, and they how don’t get the option to dial things back. Although this is fiction, I feel that, if this was hard to write or read, imagine the horror of having to endure what every human trafficking victim has to endure.
